2/6/2024 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C spoke with guardian and inquired about Josiah recent behaviors. QMHP-C conducted a family session with Josiah and his family. The focus of the session was to address Josiah anger. Upon arrival at the home, Josiah appeared withdrawn evident by his facial expression at which mother reports when he is angry he will lash out on others with behaviors lasting up to 10 minutes in duration. 2.Behavior: QMHP-C redirected Josiah throughout the session to focus on maintaining positive behaviors. At times within the session, Josiah would get upset with his mother and utilize profanity with behaviors lasting up to 10 minutes in duration. 1.Intervention: QMHP-C began session by processing with Josiah him current emotional state. QMHP-C reviewed interventions from the previous session and explored with Josiah and his mother Josiah feelings and his behaviors in the home. QMHP-C redirected Josiah mother throughout the session to address the questions and respond to Josiah statements. 2.Intervention: QMHP-C processed with Josiah mother the impact of his past on her current relationship with Josiah and his siblings. QMHP-C explored with Josiah and his mother ways to improve their relationship and ways to improve the relationships with everyone in the home. QMHP-C ended session by reviewing interventions with Josiah and his mother and encouraging them to provide feedback on the session. 1.Response: Josiah actively participated throughout the session. While processing with Josiah him current emotional state, Josiah shared that he was anxious about family session and he did not know if he was going to say anything. While reviewing interventions from the previous session and exploring with Josiah mother Josiah relationships with others in the home, Josiah mother shared that she felt Josiah continued to have a strained relationship with his siblings, but that he had a positive relationship with him. Josiah appeared irritated, evident by his facial expression, but when prompted by QMHP-C, shared that he did not have anything to say. 2.Response: Josiah siblings shared that they felt Josiah mother did not love them and Josiah mother appeared shocked, evident by his facial expression. Josiah mother stated that she will implement the rule of everyone telling another family member that they love them and why they love them each day. At the end of the session, Josiah stated that he was unsure of the effectiveness of the family session, but was hopeful that things will begin to change.
